When will I receive my money?

Quite often you can expect Trading4u to pay approximately 3 weeks from collecting your item/s. That allows time for the listings to be created, the auction to last 7-10 days and to allow 5 days for the buyer to pay Trading4u.

Will I receive a receipt for the items that have been collected?

Yes.  You will receive a copy of our form that you would have completed with the Collection Team's signature after they have collected everything.

What does the Collection Charge include?

Your Collection Charge includes sufficient manpower, the use of a large luton van, transport (fuel) and storage.  If your items fulfill a van normally two men from the Collection Team will carry out the Collection of your items.

What does your 35% commission include?

Our commission absorbs all selling related costs such as eBay listing and final value fees, as well as other fees from similar sites as well as PayPal fees to process the entire payment procedure.  Significantly you also have the expertise of the consultant's time in researching, listing and facilitating all your sales.  VAT is also included.

Which areas do you serve?

Worldwide.  Our fleet primarily serve London, Essex and the South East.  We are however always across the rest of the UK as far as Wales, Yorkshire and Cornwall.  Our courier and shipping contracts are also constantly being utilised to import our clients assets/stock/unwanted items.

Trading4u Ltd was set up in September 2006 and incorporated as a Limited Company in May 2007.

What items do Trading4u sell?

Trading4u will sell any individual item worth a minimum of £75.

How do I know it will be worth more than £75?

If you need us to valuate your items then please don't hesitate to contact us.

How does it work if I am a company?

The same way as a Consumer but we implement market strategy to sell the stock quickly that may involve wholesaling, and you would be included on a fortnightly payment run.

How long does it take to sell an item?

From Collection typically it takes approx 2 weeks including the auction lasting 7-10 days.

What sort of items sell best?

Conumer electronics, PC equipment, branded items, musical equipment, etc.

Can you help me with storage?

Our storage rates are competitive as we're based just outside London and transport is included.

How much does it cost to collect my item/s?

If your consignment is no larger than a typical microwave then we will arrange collection for just £14.99 including £ 50 insurance.

If your items are larger then we will quote you based on the floor space used within one of our fleet vehicles.
